Snow Removal Policy

Users Online Shopping
The Board has adopted the following policy with respect to snow removal from driveways and front sidewalks of Villa residences. Snow accumulation of less than 2" will not be the responsibility of the Association unless there is substantial drifting at a significant number of residences. If snow accumulation is 2" or more, then the Association has entered into an agreement with Countryside Lawn & Tree Care for snow removal services. As soon as snow accumulation has ceased and the winds have subsided, the Board will contact Countryside to arrange for removal. The timing of removal is subject to the reasonable discretion of Countryside because of manpower and equipment availability. Snow removal on certain holidays may not be possible, such as on Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Countryside uses truck plows, skid steerers or tractors with blades to remove snow from driveways. Shovels and snow blowers will be used for walks and porches. Countryside’s goal is to remove the majority of snow to expedite melting and to allow residents to be able to leave their homes. Due to time constraints and other factors, picture perfect snow removal for 95 Villas is not possible. Ice removal is not provided for. No sand, salt or ice melt will be used regardless due to damages that can occur to concrete.

Any resident may contact Countryside (or any other contractor) directly to provide snow removal on other occasions.  Countryside has quoted a cost of $45 per hour, with a $45 minimum. To contact Countryside  directly, any resident may call Greg Yeley on his cell phone at 409-8512.
