The following items are pre-approved for construction and do not require submission to the Design Review Committee:  Examples may be found throughout Remington Place.

Fences.  Wrought iron or aluminum fences from 4’ to 6’ tall with pickets spaced from 4” to 6” apart and painted or anodized black are approved.  It is suggested steel fences have a good protective coating of baked on enamel or galvanizing to extend their service life.

Mail Boxes. Mail boxes mounted on wooden stands, as found throughout the Remington neighborhood, are acceptable.  Mail box stands constructed of brick or stone pillars roughly 2’ square and 5’ tall may be used as long as the brick or stone is consistent in color & texture with materials used throughout the neighborhood.
