Countryside Lawn & Tree Care provides mowing, lawn treatment, sprinkler system maintenance, flower bed maintenance, and pond maintenance for Remington Place. They are located at 1630 E 37th ST NORTH. Pursuant to the Association's contract with Countryside, they will provide the following services for the Villas and Common Areas:
Villas:
1-30 weekly mowings, including edging, trimming, pre-mow trash removal, and blowing off excess grass and debris from concrete surfaces after mowing
2-4 lawn treatments:
- crabgrass preventer in spring
- fertilization each application
- broadleaf control when necessary
3-sprinkler system
- spring startup and adjustment
- annual backflow certification if on city water
- winterization/blowout
- (Backflow rebuild (every 5 years or when there is a failure) and any repairs necessary throughout the season are the responsibility of the homeowner. Homeowners may chose any company. For continuity, consistency and to reduce confusion, Countryside should be the preferred company. Countryside offers all Remington residents a $10.00 per hour discount for sprinkler repairs and additions.)
Common Areas:

4-annual bed maintenance
- spot trimming/deadheading/weeding, etc (12 visits annually, bi-weekly in season)
- bed pre-emergent applications- 2 times annually
- shrub shaping - 3 times annually
- topdress entry beds with fresh cypress mulch- 2 times annually
- spray all tree rings to control weeds - 2 per year
5-pond maintenance
- blue dye Installation in all 6 ponds - 8 visits per year
- algaecide treatments for all 6 Ponds - 12 visits per year
- treatment for large and narrow leaf pond weed - 3 visits per year
- cattail control
